In The Beginning

These are some pictures of the process of putting my lift onto my truck. It took 4 days working from 9am till 9pm. The instructions only called for 12 hours of labor for a mechanic. Well lets just say that if you plan on putting a lift on your bronco you better have a empty week if you are doing it yourself.

The hardest part that we ran into was taking off the old brackets. They were mounted to the frame with rivets and if you have ever taken off steel rivets you know how much of a bear they can be. But, once we got the rivets out of the old brackets it was pretty much smooth sailing.

The Finished Product

This is what it looks like now. The next thing that will go on the Bronco will be 4:10 gears, exhaust, and a chip for the shift points of the transmission. After I do those things I will work on how I will fit 38s on my truck, but it will be awhile before that happens.

The New Tires
